Why it is important that YOU donate.

On March 23rd, 1775 at St. Johns Church in Richmond, Virginia, Patrick Henry rose without notes to speak in favor of revolution while the colonists were being taxed without representation. Henry then gave one of the most moving pieces of oratory in world history when he said: “What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!”

Now we are faced with similar problems as we tax our future without representation. We may not have Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry to defend our cause, although they would undoubtably be on the front lines beside us, but we do have Rand Paul, who will, as our next Senator, fight to reign in spending and get this country back on track. This Tuesday, YOU will have your chance to fight spending. On Tuesday, YOU will have your chance to reign in big government. In just a few short days, YOU will have your chance to stick it to the establishment.

Rand Paul’s “Give me Liberty” Money Bomb could define this race for Senate. As his opponent takes shots at Rand’s medical school, Dr. Paul continues his course of Liberty, but he needs your help. Rand doesn’t have the luxury of having “Bailout Ball’s” hosted by the Senate Minority Leader, but depends on you and me for guidance. We have to make sure our voices are heard and make sure we see this race out to the end. Fighting for the Constitution can be tough work, especially when some of our elected officials care so little about it.

That’s why now, more than ever, it is crucial that you give what you can to the Liberty Money Bomb. Rand will keep doing what he can to shield the attacks but it’s up to us to have his back. I know the economy is bad. If you can’t afford to give 500 dollars or 100 dollars, that’s ok. Even if you can only give five or ten dollars, every little bit helps. If everyone takes up that mindset, we could raise over One Million Dollars. But it’s up to us. I hope I’ll see your name on the front of the Rand Paul website to see you’ve given money to support the cause of liberty.
